Dr Sara Fakhraei is a caring General Practitioner who has more than five years of clinical experience, including two years working in a busy emergency hospital, .

Sara has a special interest in chronic disease management, including diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular health, and supporting patients on their weight loss journey.

She also has a strong interest in mental health, psychology and ADHD, and enjoys helping patients navigate both their physical and emotional wellbeing.

She enjoys caring for patients of all ages and especially loves working with children. She believes that patience, kindness, and creating a calm environment help children feel comfortable and make visits to the doctor a more positive experience.

For Sara, the most rewarding part of general practice is getting to know her patients. She believes that good healthcare starts with genuine connection. Taking the time to listen, understanding each person's concerns, and making patients feel welcomed, respected, and supported are at the heart of her approach to medicine.

Sara is passionate about learning and continually keeps up to date with the latest medical evidence . She believes every patient deserves compassionate care that is tailored to their individual needs.

Originally from Iran, Sara is fluent in both English and Persian (Farsi). She is pleased to provide consultations in either language and warmly welcomes Persian speaking patients .

Outside of medicine, Sara has a creative side and loves painting. She also enjoys spending time in nature ,. Australia's beautiful landscapes and outdoor lifestyle were some of the reasons she chose to make it her home. On her days off, you'll often find her exploring nature, enjoying a walk, or simply taking time to recharge outdoors.
